PSC Hearing Transportation
At its board meeting on January 8th, 2013 the Forest Town Board approved by motion, to arrange transportation for board members and residents to the January 17th PSC Hearing in Madison Wisconsin.
The hearing will focus on the report and direct testimony of five distinguished noise experts on both sides of the low frequency and infrasound debate. The experts report is entitled:
A Cooperative Measurement Survey and Analysis of Low Frequency and Infrasound at the Shirley Wind Farm in Brown County.
The following information is available at this time. Please note that the times are subject to change and all times will be confirmed several days prior to the trip along with any additional information:
Residents are invited and encouraged at a cost of $15 per person.
All Town board and plan commission members are encouraged to attend. Their transportation cost will be provided by the town.
Tentative time of departure from the Forest Town Hall is between 4:30 & 5:00 AM. (This time will be confirmed prior to the 17th).
The PSC hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM.
Length of hearing. Although there is no set length of the hearing day, a full day should be planned for this trip. The best estimate of the departure time will be between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Current plans are that the bus will be stopping for dinner.
There are limited lunch choices within walking distance, or you may choose to bring a bag lunch or small cooler for your convenience.

A confirmed participant list will be posted at the Town Hall on the evening of January 15th, or you will be notified by phone.
